Sons of Sunnah Academy is built around a serious safety standard. Every activity is sorted by risk level. Every higher-risk activity has rules, supervision, and consent. Every event has a written emergency action plan.

Risk levels
How we sort every activity.
Each activity is assigned a risk level that determines supervision, age limits, consent, instructor credentials, and emergency planning.
Green · Classroom / Low Risk
Classroom and low-risk
Deen circles, history, Quran reflection, indoor reflection.
Blue · Outdoor Basic
Outdoor basic
Hiking on marked trails, light camp setup, basic field activities.
Yellow · Supervised Physical Skill
Supervised physical skill
Archery, supervised fire activity, rope climb, fitness with form standards.
Red · High-Risk Activity
High-risk
Activities that require certified instructors, special waivers, professional facilities, age limits, additional consent, or legal/insurance approval.
Parent / guardian participation
Parents and guardians lead right alongside their sons.
Father or guardian participation is preferred at most events and may be required for younger participants, campouts, and higher-risk activities. The academy is built for fathers and sons to grow together, side by side.

High-risk activity policies
Where the line is, and how we hold it.
- Archery: range rules and qualified supervision
- Fire: supervised, age-appropriate, with water and tools staged
- Blades and tools: taught as discipline, not play
- Vehicles and motorsports: only in legal, insured, controlled environments
- Paintball: only through professional facilities with PPE
- Firearm and hunting education: restricted to legal, certified, adult-supervised pathways
- No unsupervised high-risk activities, ever
Youth protection
Standards that protect every boy in our care.
- Background checks for adult volunteers and staff where applicable
- Two-adult rule at all times during youth activities
- No one-on-one unsupervised adult-child contact
- Parent visibility into events
- Published code of conduct
- Clear reporting process for concerns
- Photo and video consent collected separately
